It is important that from a very early age children learn about each of the emergency rescue services and their unique roles.
Teaching children about this through the medium of a story and lovable characters such as Cat and Dog means that the concepts are accessible, understandable and memorable. Children are introduced to situations in which each of the emergency services may need to be called,. The sights and sounds that may accompany each vehicle are explained as well the occupants.
